Construction is underway for the redevelopment of the historic Anderson School in downtown Bothell, Wash. McMenamins first Seattle-area hotel will open October 15, 2015, and feature a 72-room hotel, restaurants, a brewery, pubs, swimming pool, theater and outdoor spaces.
Anderson School hotel rooms can be reserved online now. Event space bookings are also now available online or by calling (425) 398-0127.
McMenamins will begin accepting applications for more than 150 full and part-time Anderson School positions in May. Job listings will be posted on McMenamins website as they become available.

In April 2014, the founders of Portland’s family-owned McMenamins Inc. invited private investors to join them for the first time to redevelop the vacant 1930s art deco Anderson School building. McMenamins, which operates 52 distinctive pubs, restaurants and historic hotels in the Pacific Northwest, formed Anderson School Properties, LLC, to fund the capital campaign.
Anderson School Properties closed the equity investment offering in February 2015 with 24 investors and $8.25 million, which surpassed the original fundraising goal of $8.0M.
The funding strategy was made possible when the Securities and Exchange Commission amended Regulation D with Rule 506(c) in September 2013, widening options for private companies to raise capital without the assistance of a third-party investment facilitator.
